Ques:-1 Explain respiration in cockroach.
Ans:-1 In insects such as cockroach and grasshoppers,the exchange of gases take place through opening called spiracles.Air enters through these opening and reaches all parts of the body through respiratory tubes called trachea and their branches are called tracheoles.

Ans:-2 Earthworms have no special respiratory organ.Gases are exchanged through the moist
skin and caterpillars,where the oxygen is picked up by the hemoglobin dissolved in the blood plasma and CO2 is released.

Ans:-3 The air we breathe in passes into the lungs through nostrils and dust particles get stuck in the nostrils pairs.Then it reaches the lungs and they take all oxygen and there is 0.03% CO2 in the air we breathe in and when we exhale the air it has 4.01% of CO2 in it.
